Arch Rubber Fender Overview

The Arch Rubber Fender (also known as the V-type fender) is a classic, high-performance docking solution designed to provide maximum durability and energy absorption for a wide range of maritime applications. It is characterized by its "arch" or "V" shape, which provides a large mounting base and a rugged contact face.

At WISELINK Maritime, our Arch Rubber Fenders provide the rugged, reliable shield your port infrastructure deserves.

Key Specifications

Design Profile: The arch shape allows for excellent stress distribution throughout the fender body during compression.

Application Areas

Arch rubber fenders are versatile, solid rubber fenders used across a wide range of marine facilities. Their V-shaped cross-section provides high energy absorption with low reaction force, making them suitable for:

General cargo berths – Mixed vessel traffic, breakbulk terminals

Bulk cargo terminals – Coal, iron ore, grain, cement berths

Container terminals – Low hull pressure protection for large vessels

Shipyards & dry docks – Vessel construction, repair, and launch berths

Fishing harbors – Abrasion-resistant protection for varied vessel types

Marinas & small craft harbors – Smaller sizes for yachts and pleasure craft

Locks & canals – Guide wall protection during lock transit

Offshore support berths – Durable fendering for supply and crew vessels
