Foam Fenders Overview

Foam-Filled Fenders (often called "Unsinkable Fenders") are advanced, high-performance marine protection systems. Unlike pneumatic fenders, which rely on compressed air, foam fenders consist of a high-density, closed-cell foam core encapsulated within a resilient, polyurea-sprayed outer skin.

Our foam fenders are engineered for durability, reliability, and low maintenance. They are the go-to solution for applications where the risk of puncture is high or where vessel downtime must be zero.

Low Maintenance Requirements

Excellent Durability in Harsh Environments

Stable Performance Regardless of Temperature

Unsinkable (100% Fail-Safe): This is the single biggest advantage.

Toughness and Resilience: The polyurea coating is incredibly durable.

Core Structure:

Closed-Cell Foam Core: A high-resilience foam that absorbs energy through compression. Crucially, even if the fender is punctured, it will not deflate or lose its shape.

Reinforced Skin: Coated with a thick, high-performance Polyurea layer. This skin provides superior resistance to abrasion, tearing, and UV degradation.

Internal Chain/Swivel System: Usually features a central steel tube with heavy-duty swivels at both ends to ensure the fender can rotate freely during vessel movement.
